Z-Girl

Azusa Zeitzler is the young twentysomething niece of Suzanne Grace, the chief astrologer for the VALentine Complex team since the day the group was founded. She grew up in an atmosphere of savagery, super-science and sorcery -- and, much to her aunt's chagrin, she determined to become a super-heroine in her own right some day. After much training and education, she has finally succeeded.

Donning her own costume and adopting the professional name of Z-Girl (the "Z" is for "zodiac," of course, as well as her last initial), she has appointed herself Matchman's official sidekick in his never-ending quest to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony. Her physical fighting skills are as deadly as anyone's and her mystical psychic astrological powers are so arcane and potent as to frighten even herself sometimes. She despises Discordia intensely, as she herself has a massive crush on Scott Suffix, although she would never admit this to anyone, even under torture.

Appearance. Short, slim and wiry, with straight shoulder-length brunette hair in a bob and a cutting, wry sense of humor. Her costume is a pink skin-tight bodysuit with navy-blue gauntlets and high boots, a red cape and a gold belt, red hearts trailing down one leg - and, on her chest, her emblem: a heart with a “Z” inside it, encircled by an orbit ring, echoing Matchman’s own heart-and-M.
