Kimoko joins the Ultima Thule operation as a Japanese intelligence representative. She supplies information about ancient traditions and the technology behind the dangerous project, then accompanies Matchman, Z-Girl and Arnie to Antarctica. Preparation and knowledge are her first contributions.
Exposure to the Stealth Saucer changes her physical properties. She discovers that she can increase her density and withstand powerful impacts. An everyday mishap sends her through a floor and costs her a home; Z-Girl offers her a place to stay.
Captivity at the Antisemit’s hands brings another test. Once freed, Kimoko uses her increased mass like a living cannonball to knock down Super Ficial!. Cooperation with her friends gives her new ability a precise tactical purpose.
