“Tex Ali” - a grotesque sheik-meets-cowboy B.L.A.H. recruit (djellabah over blue jeans, ten-gallon hat, riding a legless spring-horse) who kidnaps Z-Girl, convinced VALCom is a “Zionist” front (#17). He spouts conspiracy boilerplate that bores even the other villains, and is fried by Z-Girl when Scott hits the deactivation button on his belt.

In comic 17 the Antisemit bases his hostility on an invented conspiracy about VALCom and allies himself with Dejection. His name, Tex Ali, and deliberately mixed costume form part of the satire. He kidnaps Z-Girl and Kimoko and holds them with a device that suppresses their abilities.
His message to Suzanne draws the team into crisis just when Scott has lost his powers. Rescue requires Arnie’s help and the captives’ own participation. Disabling the restraint lets Z-Girl strike back, while Kimoko overcomes Super Ficial!’s advantage. Cooperation defeats the scheme built on hatred.
