The Matchman
This poor bastard is constructed of the flesh of a million hijacked human tongues. Why, one asks? Because the tongue is well known to be the most powerful muscle in the human body, in proportion to its size. It was the fiendish aim of Dr. Dejection to construct for personal use an all-powerful giant with which to terrorize the entire city of New York into abject submission. Forbin (the name comes from an obscure disaster movie of the early 1970's) is the result.
His metropolitan rampage (once freed from his prison in the Lipstick Building on the upper east side of Manhattan) will be documented in the forthcoming Matchman movie. He is understandably ill tempered, given the circumstances and materials of his creation. The crowning irony of his existence is that, although composed solely of human tongues, he himself is denied the power of coherent speech.
